I have used it often. If you want to make christmas ornaments you need to get the hooks to stick in ahead of time. You may need to glue after baking.

tooth picks help hold heads arms and legs on, but after baking you may need to hot glue also.

I bake my clay on a flat piece of card board for ten min. It seems to work out the best... Glass holds the heat to much and if I remember right metal didn't work much better for me.

If you have a pasta maker they work great to flatten the clay.
