Guy's perspective: I wouldn't encourage you to surprise him with ballroom dance lessons. If he's not into it, it could turn out to be a horrible present! But they are very cool and something you guys should talk about. My wife and I recently took a couple classes through the rec department because private lessons are incredibly expensive. I didn't learn much, lol, but the time together was good for us. Of course, I'm 50, she's 47, so our interests are surely different than yours.

As for what to get him, the couples massage sounds cool and unique. Or, better yet, a massage table and a book on massage.
