I use advantage for fleas and ticks. I am in the south and it doesn't get as cold so I use it year round. If you don't see any bugs such as fleas and ticks I don't know if like I said before it might be dry skin. Did you change shampoos? How often are you bathing? Are you using a conditioner? Do you see a rash? Maybe he just has an itch. I get itchy and I don't have fleas. HEE HEE Just kidding. I don't know. It could be alot of things. By the way fleas are very small. Tiny in fact you can see them though. Smaller than a grain of rice. They are reddish brown in color. I guarantee if your dog has fleas you will know it because they like to bite people too. Ticks look like spiders they have a round body with small legs I don't know how many. They bury their mouth into the flesh. If your dog has tick you probably won't see it moving around. it will be stuck to your dog. They look similar to a brown raised mole when attached. There that is your daily dose of parasite discribtions. I hope it helps.
