Way back when I had Gabby spayed (9 years ago), total cost was less than $200 and included up-to-date shots, spay, and baby teeth pulled. I had Gage altered back in February and total cost with shots and surgery was $250 but I also purchased his HeartGuard meds and some steroids that the vet put him on because of his skin.
Compared to what I paid, I do think the prices are a bit high.
