Winnie wa snever yappy, but I have heard that dogs HATE the sound of metal on metal...so everytime he's being yappy you could try saying "enough" (that's the word we use) or "stop" and shake a tin can filled with pennies. It should get him to stop and associate the word you use to mean stop barking. Also, you could try giving him a treat when he's just sitting there being good. Don't give a treat when he stops barking though...he will think that he can bark whenever he wants a treat. Good luck! |
