Making him bleed is exactly what I'm afraid of. That's why I wish I knew where I could go to learn how to do it properly. Even when the vet does it, and it bleeds, I get very worried, but she usually takes care of it with a swab with a liquid she uses, and just holds it for a couple of seconds on the nail, and it stops pretty quick. It's bad enough Oliver acts like he's being tortured with the nail cutting, lol. The rest of the grooming goes fine, no stress, it's just the nails. Oh, well. I guess I'll just have to continue taking him to the vet for the nails, until I can learn myself.
