That is way over the top! I paid for some optional extras, had 4 teeth removed but no microchip and the bill was a little under $200. The microchips are only $50 here. I am considering it. I found even in our small town there was a big difference in pricing. Not such a big deal with only one, but as our canine family grew we found a less expensive vet. I would not have given up quality for price but the new vet wound up being our favorite of all time.
