This is an outrageous price. When I had Mollie spayed now she stayed 3 days in the hospital it was about 6 weeks after she had her babies, she got a uterine infection and also had 2 teeth pulled, and it was only around $350. I live in Metro Atlanta where vets are very expensive. I would do some checking around to see if you can get a cheaper price. The local humane society here in Atlanta does it for I think around $150 - $200.
