I just use a baby toothbrush and the non meat flavoured dog toothpaste.Start with just the toothbrush and see if they let you brush or even if they chew it a little.
If you dont get anywhere with the brush you can also try rubbing their teeth with a little face cloth and wipe that round their teeth.It's a good idea to get them used to you looking in their mouth when they are young you will reap the benefits as they get older!
