Expose her to the male on Day 9 or 10 after the bleeding starts and is no longer red, check daily when you suspect it is time for her to come into heat so you can best judge timing. When she allows mating, then rest one day and repeat mating again - some rest one more day and repeat one more time. I usually just do the two matings to lower the risk of premature babies, but the third mating might help to insure pregnancy. It does no good to breed more than once per day. Good luck, next time. It will be here before you know it and 2 months isn't a long gestation period (pregnancy) so it's never that big of a deal if it doesn't take. |
