As a follow-up, does anyone know if it is common for the injection site to have a hard bump for a while? The vet said it will go away, but it has been 3 weeks and I am beginning to wonder. It has shrank in size some, but it is still there. Anyone have any experience/knowledge on this? |
Vet took it in his fingers and rolled it, and said for me to rub it often for a few days that the antibiotic had "encapsulated" and it would make it work it's way through the skin if I just rubbed it. It worked - was gone in a couple of days.
