A lot of the mixed breeds are very cute - and certainly any dog can be a wonderful pet.

To tell the truth - sometimes I look at my little Yorkie with his puppy cut - and his unkempt hair that is scattered all over --every color going in every direction - the dirt and the few leaves that always seem to be stuck to his face this time of year - and lately the pineneedles hanging from his legs and his behind...... and, he's a purebred --- but, he sure looks like a little Walt Disney mutt to me. And, I tell him that too.....

I have had a lot of mixed breed and a lot of purbreds and have loved all my dogs to death, but the favorite one of my lifetime was a mixed breed. She was special in every possible way -- and there will never be a day that I don't miss her.

I know a lot of you have Yorkies, other purebreds, and mixed breeds too. And, from all your posts - it's obvious that you love all of them.

**** I do agree with all the posts that said mixed breeds from a single litter can turn out looking very different. I have seen this happen many times.

Good luck! Carol Jean
