8-9 hours is a long time for anyone to be left alone, especially yorkies who thrive on interaction with others. If I was close, I would offer to puppy sit for you. Is there anyone from YT in your area? Anyway you can arrange a longer lunch hour just for this week so you can go home to him in the middle of the day?

Yes, I leave the TV on, and a lot of toys as well. I locked him in a kitchen area, so he can not run anywhere in the house. He should be very safe there, but he is very lonely as we don't have any other pets with him. Sometimes, my landlord is home, and she can bring him to her room. However, there were two accident happened in my landlord room as Sparky eats some poison plant and some hard plastic staff in her room, and he got very sick after that. I don't know if it's a good idea to leave sparky to my landlord as she is very busy on the house work and can not pay full attention to Sparky. It's very dangers to Sparky as he eats everything. Yes, probably I have to leave work early today and take some time off tomorrow as well as Friday.
