I am sorry to hear that Sparky is so sad
But give him time. He will get used to it. When we got Annie we had to leave Annie alone for those long periods of time from the beginning as we both worked. She wimpered and whined when we left in the beginning. Even would line up at the door to run out with us... But after some time she just got used to it, and now she just watches us go. It just takes time. I still feel bad leaving her (I don't think that will ever go away) but you get used it....
