When I did it,, I would trim all the Hair on the edges with scissors, then take one of those (micro-personal trimmers) those little ones that are 9-10 dollars at drug store or walmart, and I would trim about half way down the outside of the ear,, Bailey never had much hair inside.. Also I think the massaging helped, I would massage his ears all the time,, Something worked,,, they are UP!! Either the hair cutting,, or the massaging ... or they just went up on their own,,,who knows!!
