Hi winnie, I think you might be talking about me. I sold a few pups to people in Rochester MN ( and think I remember the name winnie), lowered my prices ,and Added APRI to some of my dogs. The reason for adding the APRI to my last litters was because I bought my stud Jack from a gal in CA. and I know he is getting close to have his DNA test done for AKC. It takes a long time to get it back so the litters can be registered. I was busy with the birth of my granddaughter and rather than have the buyers wait for months for AKC papers I dual registered them. So the parents are AKC and APRI, but the litter was APRI to save time. The people were buying for pets, not show or breeding so it didn't matter to them. I will be having Jack's DNA done over the winter, and won't be breeding in the winter so time won't be a issue now. I lowered my prices because there are soooo many Yorkie breeders now and the market seemed to be flooded. I usually have a waiting list............... I looked in the paper and there were about 25 ads VS the normal 7 or so. The prices were so cheap I about feel over. Getting great homes for my pups is the most important to me , so rather than ask more and sit on them, I just lowered my prices for now and found them great homes. I added a link to the APRI so people could go look if they had concerns. I have not dropped AKC , just did the APRI to save time on Jack's litter. If you were talking about me, I would love to see pictures of the pup and get a update on how things are going. If not, thats why I lowered my prices and added APRI.
