My two are totally different and I think one of the beauties of a yorkie is the ever changing coat. Chloe is now a beautiful silver on her back, tan and even a beautiful beige around her face. Lacey is 9 months with the blue/tan features. Both are recognized by the AKC but I wouldn't care, I am not a breeder or a show person. Never a dull moment with a yorkie.
