Hello!
I just joined the forum this morning. Our family has had a female yorkie for three weeks now. She is almost three months old and we are working on house training her. I've read that yorkies are pretty hard to house train, so we've been pretty patient and keep her confined to her pen when we're not home, in her crate in our room at night, in the backyard when we can watch her, or in our arms or on a leash.
My question is, when she is eventually house trained, is it alright to have a small doggie door where she can come in and out to go pottie? We would do this when she is a bit bigger, but I was wondering what the opinion was of this?
Thank you.
