I was told it was Beaver also but it was not from somone in Germany. So, I wanted to be certain of the pronunciation. I called my friend in Germany who breeds Biewers and asked her the correct way to say it. And it is Bee-v-air=Bevair that is how it's pronounced. We say Beaver, they say Bevair...the accents a little different but the w is pronounced like a v.
