| Opinion #1)...try teaching "come" with some treats...don't keep "going to him....."....he needs to COME TO YOU...it puts you in an Alpha place.
Opinion #2) With the cowering....DON"T talk baby talk or baby him when he does this.....he will learn that you expect that behavior by the way you treat him...
This comes from a Chihuahua experience I had....but I did do something to scare her and it took FOREVER to get past that....My hubby said she is "ruined"....I think he is an idiot!!!!!
