She's Home!! After a sleepless night this morning I picked up my little girl. A woman about ten minutes from me had her listed in the local newspaper. She was bought back in July from TopNotchYorkies and then the woman decided to give her up. There is a lot more to all of this that I don't want to get into. I'm just glad I was able to get her. She is a Morkie. I have three Yorkies (All rescues) and had originally wanted to add one last Yorkie to my crew. I tried the rescues and could not find what I thought would fit best in our family, so started searching for a reputable small breeder that has the parents as pets. However, this little girl just felt right so I went with it. I have said before in my previous posts I do not support puppymills. I will not buy from a Petshop no matter how beautiful the pup is and I do not buy from brokers. Truthfully, I would always like to go through rescue first. With that said; I would like to say that Susan from TopNotchYorkies was very helpful to me. Whereas I may not support the idea of a broker I do have to thank her for the information she supplied on this little girl. She did not have to talk to me about her as I was not the person this little one was orignally sold to. Instead she spent a good hour and a half giving me info. etc on her. She was very nice and have to say thank you to her for all the informations she supplied to me that the originally mommy did not.
I'm still trying to figure out a name for her. The orininal mommy gave her a name that doesn't fit her and normally I'd keep it but honestly she does not even recognize it. She did not seem overly attatched to the woman and quite frankly has just blossomed in one day of being in our home.
I do have some concern as to how everyone will adjust. My three Yorkies are on the bigger side and Bella seems a bit jealous at times, but at the same time possessive and protective. Noel seems almost afraid and unsure of this little 3 lb. girl. However, Newman seems to adore her. I have not let her down on the floor with any of them. I've kept her in one room with a gate and the other Yorks on the opposite side of the gate. I'm really really hoping that they all adjust together and that she'll be with us forever, but I will not put her in harms way either. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Anyway, just wanted to share . I've enclosed a picture of her. She's about three pounds if that (Tiny little thing - which I did not play) and she's seven months old the spaying was already done too which was a plus for us

She has a great dispostion, seems completely wee wee pad trained and just has a great personality all the way around and listens very well.
Any suggestions on names guys? I had Tia in mind but not 100 percent sure. My other three Yorkies are Newman, Bella and Noel. Thanks Elaine.
