My vet offers the pay plan option. If you want, you can post date checks (for when ever you want) and make payments. As a matter of fact, the day you leave his office you don't even have to pay a single thing. He is GREAT! I was going to do this once when my Cocker Spaniel needed a major surgery...which was going to be super expensive. Unfortunately, she passed away and went to Rainbow Bridge a few hours afterwords...
My vet didn't even charge me for the surgery, so I of course never went through with the pay plan. I wish I would have been able to, if you know what I mean...
