Question New Yorkie Owner

Hey Yorkie owners! I'm new to this site, and new to owning a Yorkie. I"ve always been a big dog owner, and have years of experience with working dogs (patrol, bomb/drug sniffing, etc) But I have never experienced such a difficult time with getting my little Abby pottie trained!! She is 4 1/2 months old now, and I am quite aware how smart she is, and don't doubt that she knows she's supposed to pottie outside. She goes every time I take her out- which is every 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. The problem I'm facing is she will still go inside ALL the time. I'd say she probably goes on average 2 to 3 times an hour. I plan on taking her to the vet to she if she has a bladder infection. Most of the time she tries to hide from us when she goes, and sometimes she'll just squat right in front of us- almost as if she's saying "ha ha---" She's inside most of the day, because I don't want her out in the 100+ heat, and she seems to drink a normal amount of water.... so... blah blah blah...... We have to literally watch her every single second to make sure she doesn't go on the floor--- but she will make us chase her around the house, and now she's resorted to sometimes running behind the couch to pee. Has this happened with anyone else? LOL I've tried a lot of things and I'm not sure what to do next???
