You are so right. I used to have them so bad I would be doubled over in pain. I even passed out one time. Nothing helped. But labor was a breeze. The Dr. told me that cramps come from passing small clots. So they are actually labor pains. So, the worse you have them, the longer it takes for actual labor to become uncomfortable. After my 1st one, no more cramps. Then I just got old and now, no more anything - YIPPEE (except hot flashes which come in handy when you get cold.
