I love my baby boy very much too but I prefer to let him sleep in his own bed. His crate is right beside my bed on my side. When we go to bed, he will go in on his own and I will wish him goodnight and wait for him to sleep. He will let me close his crate door when he is totally out. Around 4am, he will wake me up be scratching the crate door and comes out just to stretch and move around. Sometimes, we go back to sleep; me in my bed, him in his crate but if he doesn't want to sleep, I bring him to the living room couch and sleeps with me and he will sleep just because he is with me
He usually wakes up at 6.30am in his crate and if on couch, its about 8am.
