I've watched a lot of Ceasar's shows --- and actually, he has had quite a few shows with small dogs --- and, I have seen two episodes with Yorkies.
Given that he works with dogs with behavorial problems - I think some of these problems are more serious with larger dogs than they are with smaller dogs. So, this may account for more larger dog episodes.
Ceasar has said that a lot of small dogs are totally spoiled (I can't believe this is true!!!! ha ha) - and before long they can become a real problem and sometimes totally run the household - I laughed at one of his episodes where he was trying to work with two fiesty little Yorkies that were completely out of control. He said, "Man, I'd rather work with two pit bulls than these little guys." But, there's no doubt that he loves all breeds and before long he had these two little Yorkies behaving much better. And - as usual - it was the people who were the problem - not the little dogs.
Another reason I think he works more with larger dogs is that there are just more of them...... look at all the different breeds (some 160 or more) plus the mixed breeds -- there are a lot more medium and larger breeds than there are small breeds.
Anyway - I enjoy watching him with any size dogs - and I think his training methods apply to dogs in general rather than the size they are.
All my friends watch him - some of the don't even have a dog. All my women friends have a crush on Caesar - imagine that!
