I'm still mortified.
This happened about 16 years ago. I had just given birth to my second child, a beautiful little girl. She was just two weeks old. I also had a 3 year old little boy. My husband had to have ear surgery so I was on my way to the hospital to pick him up.
I got out of the car, and strode up to the front door of the hospital, where there were at least two people standing out side the door. There I paused, and said, "omigosh", and ran back to my van... I had forgotten that I had a tiny baby in the back seat! I had to get her out and pass those same people at the front door....
BAD mom!!!
