watch out for the over protective thing I had a yorkie mix once that would go nuts if people touched. He bit someone for touching my daughter while he was sitting on her lap. Do you ever watch the dog whisperer? He'd say to set boundries and let the dog know that the couch is yours ( I guess the husband is yours too) You need to be the pack leader and make her respect you. The show is great anyway, it's on national geographic.
