Thanks, everybody! I was so proud of Jack running like that in the snow. He's so much healthier than last year.

IluvLucy, don't be fooled by my pics. I take hundreds and only post the best. Believe me, I've taken far more blurry ones than ones in focus.

However, I do have a good camera (canon digital rebel) and a nice telephoto lens (300 mm). Cameras with interchangeable lenses (SLRs) allow you to shoot at faster shutter speeds to stop the action, and the telephoto allows you to stand farther back and call your pup to you.

But no matter what kind of camera you have, you can get good action shots. Just keep practicing and read the manual about how to shoot at faster shutter speeds.
