I was in a mall in Albany, NY today and we were passing by a petstore. I always love to go in and look at the adorable puppies, although I feel sooo bad for them. I heard that most of dogs in petstores come from puppy mills. Well there was one little yorkie, about 2 lbs at 9 wks old and they were selling him for $1800! Also there was a little Chihuahua, I swear less than a pound! She was about 2 1/2 months old and she looked very scared and cold. I felt so bad for her, being so little. She looked like she was limping a little too and I told the people there to make sure she was alright. I asked for some time with her so that she can atleast get a little bit of freedom in this little room to run around and my bf asked to see the yorkie. The yorkie was so playful and active but the chi was so scared and little! I felt soooo sad for her. I asked them where they got their puppies from and they said from USDA breeders....could that be true?
