Look up the "White shaker dog syndrome" on the Internet.
This is a condition that was once thought to affect small breeds (predominantely "white" breeds). But - it has since been learned that it affects many other breeds as well........including Yorkies.
There are several articles about this on the Internet.....read them and see what you think. You might share one of these articles with your vet. Believe me, there are a lot of things out there thay they may never have run across (nothing wrong with this....). And, if they haven't, they may find this interesting.
PS: My husband was a physician - and, he learned something new everyday....and a lot of it came from his patients.
