Fourteen years ago, I bought a westie from a local pet store who was selling for a family member. He was the best dog I have ever had and his passing last year was terrible for me. After, my husband fell in love with a schnauzer from a pet store and brought her home without my knowledge. She is beautiful, loving, and has helped me with my grief. I don't know what I would do without her. I hate pet stores, but agree if you fall in love and have the committment, you are saving a puppy from an unknoown future. I just bought my new yorkie from a breeder and he is just a real joy. I guess you just never know when and where you are going to fall in love. |
