Very naive beginner question Ok, please don't slam me for asking this. I am only asking because I read about it once (long ago) and have never "investigated" it to find out if it were true.
Do show dogs have to be drugged (anti-depressants and the sort) in order to cope with being cooped up in kennels all the time? I read an article about how dogs that are shown on a regular basis are usually very depressed because they are not aloud to run and be dogs, for it might mess up their coat or they might strain a muscle . . . etc. . .
Is this really true? Please, be honest, and please only answer if you absolutely know that your information is true, not just what you THINK is true. I really want to know.
Thank you. |
