I never really gave that issue much thought, I always thought once they are trained to go potty on the pads, they'll stick to them no matter where they go? That seems the case with Pepper, he goes on pads at home and whenever I take him to work, also we took a road trip a couple weeks ago and stayed at a hotel, no accidents there either. He's 5 months, the only problem is pottying on pad is so rooted in his memory now, he won't even try to go outside, even if he's out of the house (and away from the pad) for hours at a time (I think 7 or so the longest
