-When it comes to training formal commands and having higher expections (consitency and exactness) then I'd say I begin that at 4 months.

-As far as manners and basic control goes (No; Off; Come Here; Go Lay Down; Get In....) I usually start like day two or three after I get the dog home, whatever age that may be. Usually 8-10 weeks for me.
