When chewy first came home, after dinner every night he would run around the living room like a WILD MAN! He would just go nuts running and we thought it was cute... then he started running and would run up nip and contune running!!!! It wasn't funny any more. I started putting the leash on him and making him sit with me and he calmed right down. It seemed like he couldn't calm himself down at night like that and when I made him sit with me that was the end of the CRAZY behavoir... (I would walk him before he got nuts to help hm calm down but it didn't seem to help!
Maybe your puppy was just on a running jag and too exited to calm hmself when he hurt the baby... Hope this helps!
