It probably will. It did me, after attending shows, helping exhibitors when they needed, running and fetching, I decided I wanted to do it too. Went on the hunt for the best possible breeder and dog I could find....a year and half later I had my first show dog, finished 3 Champions myself before I went near a whelping box. Finished a 4th and now showing my first home bred.
