Depends on the age and weight of your dog. Some vets don't like to nueter until well over 2 pounds and about 6-7 months of age. Just to make sure all the baby teeth that are going to be lost have done so on their own and they can pull the ones that aren't at the same time they do the nuetering. I use Intercepter, and it's prescribed according to weight
