We got him when I was in high school, and he slept in my bed until I moved out. He's the best little brother ever, and I thank him for being there for me at some of the most painful moments of my life, growing up, facing decisions. He was on my side when it felt like nobody was. Thank you, Rochester, for making our family laugh. Thank you for barking when we argued. Thank you for accepting me unconditionally when others have stopped.
Goodbye, Little Rochester. I will never forget you. Your spirit will live on long after you are gone. My memories with you are precious and will never be forgotten. |
OMG, I'm so sorry, I know how hard this is. I've had to do it twice now. 18 Wow. He had a great life. Hang in there. It takes time but, it does get easier. Just remember all the great times and the joy that he brought to you lives.
