Try the idea of an x-pen with a top, or lock her in your bathroom for HER safety. I like to call people who've bought pups from me on their b-days if I have't heard from them. well, I'll never get over calling a woman who was home all the time with her 3 year old yorkie. She walked into a room after being on the phone to find her 3 year old baby laying with her teeth clamped on a live cord. Of course she was dead. Her description still haunts me. I have used paprika with a little water and have found that they do not go back. They wheeze and snort (as I would), but it hasn't hurt them. Those cow hooves are still real popular with my girls. (I sure don't get it, but they love them to chew on). Good luck.
