Poor little baby - I hate to say this - but you may have to take the hair all the way down - they're REALLY hard to get out and it will hurt - have you tried Johnsons NO MORE Tangles - it helps get out matts but if it's really bad - it's buzz time ....then you can keep up with it as it grows back so this doesn't happen again -
Puppy coats knot EASILY and they really need to be brushed every day.
Also... - he's getting way too many baths - A puppy should not have that many as it strips the oils from the coat - A good investment is a superior product to bath him in and you'll see a difference.
Try a
really good shampoo and conditioner - and a leave in spray - there's lots of good ones and you want to spray him LIGHTLY cause too much and he'll itch - always rinse your puppy well after a bath and try to keep something on his hair to keep the moisture in ....too many baths will dry him out totally and you will end up with a very dry itchy yorkie -
Good luck - I hope you can get the matts out .....if you have to cut him all the way - maybe buy him some cute shirts so he won't feel naked ?
