I dont think that is too bad. My yorkie was only 8 oz at 12 weeks (thats just half a pound) and she is almost 3 lbs now being full grown at 1 year 10 months. So I think if your girl is a pound she should at least be 3-4 pounds full grown which is small but not too bad. DEFINETLY be sure she eats every 3-4 hours for the first few months you have her or you can encounter some serious hypoglycemia problems. Trust me, I had 2 serious hypoglycemia attacks with chloe and it was absolutely heart wrenching and horrible. So to avoid going thru that just make sure she eats. Keep karosyrup on hand! My vet told me just to be sure chloe ate every 3-4 hours and thats what I did until she was 6 months old. I got up twice every night to make sure she ate. I also would put a little karosyrup in her water if I didnt feel she ate very much but you have to be careful not to give them too much sugar either.
