Ok...Schatzie has it right...you dress your dogs to make yourself happy...AND in many cases, the dog enjoys it, too. However, I do not think you should dress your dogs (at least for extended peiods) if they hate it. If they like the attention they get from it, then why not? Additionally, I see nothing wrong with comparing it to playing with dolls...how is this an insult? You dressed up dolls to make yourself happy...same with dressing Yorkies. I highly doubt that an Owner of a Yorkie who loves being dressed hates having to dress that Yorkie...someone had to dress the Yorkie for the first time to begin with in order to see if they like it...anyway, people are always going to judge, so if you and your Yorkie both like playing dress up then who cares what others think...more power to you!
