I had a breakthrough just this morning with expressing her anal glands. My discovery was that I was squeezing too low. The glands (at least on Syd) are above the actual opening, more toward her tail. This explains why I could never get it to work before. They were really bothering her...so I got all kinds of kisses for getting it right finally.
