Congrats on your boy!
THe usual rule around here is "don't breed unless you're improving the standard" Or at least keeping up with it! Unfortunately, a yorkie over 7 pounds doesn't meet the AKC standards (is it 7 pounds, ladies?? I'm not quite sure) BUT OF COURSE WE LOVE THEM BIG! I have an 8 pounder I'm in love with.
Anyways, please research it ENTIRELY before you get into breeding. You may learn some very important things and you may decide not to breed at all (for the safety of your dog(s)! Breeding can be a VERY scary thing and a very dangerous one. (With big and little yorkies)
