I would bet your puppy is a bit traumatized from the flight as well acclimating to his new surroundings and mom. The mites and skin problem are unfortunate ask the breeder to pay for his meds.

Also stating he smelled bad after you picked him up from the airport...more often than not puppies pee and poo in their crate during their flight, they have no choice ....

I am not defending the breeder (I dont know where you got your pup) I just think your title is a rush to judgement. Assuming!

best to you and your new baby!

I too don't know all the facts here but it sounds like a bit of overreaction to me- Most puppies are some what subdued when moved to new surroundings until they have time to figure it out- you need to remember he has only known one place and now everything is strange to him. as to him smelling when arriving- DUH- he is a baby -scared , in a strange place but still must pee and poop- he doesn't know about showering before meeting new folks !!!!
Sorry but as a breeder - this was a very quick rush to judgement and it just gets others fired up when the whole set of facts has not been disclosed.
All thats required now is for him to be loved and cuddled for a few days and he will forget he ever knew any place except your kind loving arms.
Even my puppies that I play with and handle daily and run around my kitchen under my feet will cower when a stranger comes in and picks one up- They need time to adjust - some more than others- they are just like us people - we all have our limits for meeting new people as to how quick we feel comfortable.

Sorry to be so long winded but I feel you just need to love on him and all will be fine and it does not mean he was abused before!!!!!!!
