It is possible you gave Jaxon too much too soon. The bag says to slowly work up to the recommended dosage, which for a 5 lb dog would be 1/2 tsp daily. Sissy has been on it for a month now and I'm only giving her 1/4 tsp now. I started with less than 1/16 (not much more than a small pinch) and slowly worked to 1/4 tsp over a two week time frame.
