Default I'm so excited.. just had to share!

Tonight my future son-in-law is going to propose to my daughter! We've been working on the ring for the last couple of months. He bought an over 1 carat princess cut center stone, then his parents contributed just over a third of a carat side stone, then we contributed a matching side stone. Didn't know how difficult it was to match diamonds, but we finally found a perfect match! He took the concept of Today, Yesterday and Tomorrow and added the concept of the joining of families. It is a beautiful ring! I hope she likes it. She only wears a size 4 and is really tiny so this is quite a bit of bling for her little finger.

Anyway, he just stopped by and told me how the night was going to go. He has a friend that manages a restaurant so he has a whole room booked which will be filled with lighted candles. He has written a poem telling her how special she is which he will read while waiting for dessert. The waiter will then bring out a present to open. The present is a fancy rectangle pillow and when she opens it and asks what it's for. He is going to reply, It's for me and then he will put it on the floor for a kneeling pillow and propose on his knees! So I guess romance and chivalry are still alive and well. He actually asked us for her hand in marriage. She has absolutely no idea whatsoever, I'm almost positive she will say yes, but will want to wait until after her college graduation (two more semesters).

After dinner he has a "reception" planned with all of their friends and family. This has been so hard keeping it a secret since we tell each other everything so I can't wait until it's time for the reception!
