Glad you found us! One word for you: socialize!

Socialize, socialize, socialize.

As soon as your pup has all of his/her shots, start taking him out to meet the world. The goal is 100 new people and 100 new situations before they are 20 weeks old.

The more you socialize your pup, the less likely he/she is to be "mean". Genetics also plays a factor. Be sure you meet the mom.

Joey is far-and-away the best dog I've ever had. But then, I've also spent more time socializing him and taking him to obedience classes than I have any other dog. Probably no coincidence, right?
