So sorry to hear that she has passed from this earth, but glad to hear it was peaceful and you were able to be with her. How lucky you were to have a companion as special as she was and how lucky she was to have a companion as special as you!
Take the time to grieve, but then smile and remember the happy memories. When the time is right for you, consider getting another because you deserve the unconditional love they provide and there is certainly one out there that deserves that love to be returned.
